Makeup By Szpunar – Aneta Szpunar

  1. Scope of Application
    These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) apply to all services provided by Makeup By Szpunar (Aneta Szpunar), in particular bridal make-up, event make-up, photo shoot make-up and private make-up lessons.
    By booking a service, the client agrees to these GTC.

  2. Services
    The make-up artist offers professional make-up services including, but not limited to:

  • Bridal make-up (including trial)

  • Event and occasion make-up

  • Photo shoot make-up

  • Private make-up lessons

The exact services are agreed individually and confirmed in advance.

  1. Booking & Conclusion of Contract
    A booking is only considered binding once:

  • written confirmation has been provided, and

  • the agreed deposit has been received.

Without payment of the deposit, there is no entitlement to the appointment.

  1. Prices & Payment Terms

  • All prices are stated in CHF.

  • Accepted payment methods: cash, TWINT or bank transfer.

  • Any remaining balance is due on the day of the service, unless otherwise agreed.

For photo shoots (B2B):

  • Invoicing takes place after the service has been rendered.

  • Payment term: 30 days.

  • In the event of late payment, default interest may be charged in accordance with Swiss law.

  1. Deposit

  • Bridal & lessons: 40% deposit

  • Event make-up: 20% deposit

The deposit is non‑refundable and secures the booked appointment.

  1. Cancellation Policy

Bridal:

  • More than 14 days before the appointment → deposit will be retained.

  • Less than 14 days → the full amount will be charged.

Event make-up:

  • Less than 48 hours before the appointment → the full amount will be charged.

  • More than 48 hours → the deposit is forfeited.

Make-up lessons:

  • Less than 48 hours before the appointment → the full amount will be charged.

  • One rescheduling is possible (with at least 48 hours’ notice), subject to availability.

Photo shoots:

  • Less than 14 days before the appointment → the deposit is non‑refundable.

  1. Right of Withdrawal
    Clients have the right to withdraw from the contract in writing within 7 days of conclusion.
    In this case, any payment already made will be fully refunded, provided that no service has yet been rendered.

  2. Rescheduling of Appointments
    Rescheduling of appointments is possible subject to availability, but is not guaranteed.
    The make-up artist reserves the right to decline rescheduling requests.

  3. Travel Costs

  • CHF 0.90 per kilometer.

  • Parking fees are borne by the client.

  • Early appointments before 09:00: surcharge of CHF 30.

  1. Obligations of the Client
    The client undertakes to:

  • arrive on time,

  • arrive with clean skin (unless otherwise agreed), and

  • disclose all relevant information.

Delays may result in a shortened service time without any price reduction.

  1. Allergies & Health Condition
    The client is obliged to inform the make-up artist before the treatment about:

  • allergies,

  • skin conditions,

  • infections (e.g. cold sores/herpes),

  • recent cosmetic treatments.

The make-up artist accepts no liability for reactions resulting from information that was not disclosed.

  1. Hygiene & Working Practices
    Only hygienically flawless, professional products and tools are used.
    The make-up artist reserves the right to refuse treatment if there are health risks.

  2. Liability
    Liability is excluded to the extent permitted by law.
    In particular, the make-up artist is not liable for:

  • allergic reactions,

  • skin irritations,

  • damage caused by third parties,

  • delays due to external circumstances (e.g. traffic, weather, location issues).

Liability for gross negligence or intent in accordance with Swiss law remains reserved.

  1. Photos & Portfolio
    The make-up artist is entitled to use photos/videos of her work for her portfolio, website and social media.
    The client may object to this at any time in writing.

For photo shoots:

  • Image rights remain with the photographer.

  • Use by the make-up artist is only permitted with the photographer’s consent.

  1. Conduct & Cooperation
    Respectful behaviour is expected at all times.
    The make-up artist reserves the right to terminate the service in the event of inappropriate behaviour.

  2. Force Majeure
    In the event of unforeseeable circumstances (e.g. illness, accident, natural events), an appointment may be postponed.
    A refund (excluding the deposit) can be agreed individually.

  3. Place of Jurisdiction & Applicable Law
    Exclusively Swiss law applies.
    The place of jurisdiction is the registered seat of the make-up artist.

  4. Final Provisions
    Should individual provisions of these GTC be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.
